This area of vineyard, first planted in 1968 is on a chalky soil on a south facing slope, in an ideal climate which is frost free.

 

 

Winery


The Winery Cellars have been purpose made and are one of the few such in the UK, providing ideal conditions for wine making. The temperature in the Cellars is perfect for natural processing of the wine - minimising the need for chemical additives. Tours of our cellars are very popular, discussing wine making through to bottling, with a generous tasting of all our wines afterwards!

Home made scones and cakes and the "best cream teas on the Isle of Wight" (So we are told !)

  1. Head southwest toward Fishbourne Ln
  2. Turn right at Fishbourne Ln/B3331
  3. Turn left at Elenors Grove/A3054
  4. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Newnham Rd
  5. Turn left to stay on Newnham Rd
  6. Turn left at Stroud Wood Rd
  7. Take the 1st right onto Rowlands Ln
  8. Turn left at Lime Kiln Shute
  9. Take the 2nd right onto Bullys Hill
  10. Turn right at Upper Adgestone Rd
  11. Adgestone Vineyards will be on your right

From Cowes Ferry

  1. Slight right at Dover Rd
  2. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Well Rd/A3021
  3. Turn left at York Ave/A3021
  4. Turn right to stay on York Ave/A3021
  5. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Lushington Hill/A3054
  6. Turn right at Park Rd
  7. Continue onto Briddlesford Rd
  8. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Downend Rd
  9. Turn left toward Bullys Hill
  10. Turn right at Bullys Hill
  11. Turn right at Upper Adgestone Rd
  12. Adgestone Vineyards will be on your right
